how to register

registrations for 2016 have now closed šŸ™

New, general registrationsĀ from members of the public forĀ the Games haveĀ now closed asĀ Team Captains have filled all available event places. Further registrations canĀ only be accepted with prior approval from yourĀ Team Captain.

Even if you’re not in an event, you can stillĀ be involved and go down,Ā get amongst it and cheer on the teams. There are so many great opportunities to meet people and soak up the atmosphere.

Don’t forget –Ā the Saturday night Revue kicks off from 6pm so bring a picnic blanket,Ā all your friends and come down to enjoy the show and theĀ delicious food available from a variety of food stalls on the night.

registration terms & conditions

Predictably, there are terms and conditions for entry into the Games, in addition to the privacy policy, the photography policy and the refunds policy. Regretfully, applications for entry cannot be accepted by the Organising Committee if participants do not agree and consent to these policies. Questions about registration should be directed to your Team Captain(s), else contact the Registrar at registrar@gvg.org.au.

what is the matrix profile?

The matrix profile is the specification of how many competitors from each age group, within each team, are required for each event, with equal male and female participation. It is the matrix that makes the GVG such a great community experience as different ages have to band together to field a team for each event and in doing so, new friendships are made across age groups that would not otherwise have any common relationship.
